Dear Nikola, Thank you for your letter. Klemens has no objections to your coming to visit me. With respect to a visit, I myself would like you to do what is best for you. If you would like to come for a visit, I should be happy to see you. My deafness is such, that if we try to converse face to face, masked and 6 feet apart, I would understand very little of what you said. I could understand you much better on the telephone. I consider information and opinions about infectiousness with the virus which much scepticism. I don't know why I have been coughing. I don't know whether I would be febrile if I stopped the Naproxen which I take to try to control my arthritis. I don't know what caused the vasculitis and rash of my legs, or whether it is still active. I am not concerned about my possibly contracting the virus. From October 8 to October 14, Klemens and I will be on Nantucket working on the house. Nathaniel has indicated he might come along. Please stay in touch with me, and telephone when you are in the mood. Please give my regards to your parents. Please be well. EJM
