From: ernstmeyer@earthlink.net Subject: Re: the dryer works Date: August 29, 2022 Good. My respectful suggestions with respect to the dryer exhaust are: a) that you purchase a very inexpensive temporary exhaust trap as has been "installed" (and used) in Konnarock for many years. b) that you then decide whether you will b1) remove the temporary trap and unplug the dryer before (electrical and final) inspection, and b2) assume that your ignoring the gratuitous regulation requiring outside venting is consistent with "how we do it on Nantucket". c) if you decide to install an outside vent, I would c1) assemble a mockup of the flexible ? 4" duct and rigid 4" PVC fittings. c2) include in the mockup an initially capped rigid PVC "tee" to which you may later, optionally, attach an exhaust fan to dehumidify the basement. c3) postpone excavating for the outside exit passage until after you have completed c1 and c2. I hope that you have a safe and comfortable trip back. On 08/29/2022 07:46 AM, Klemens Meyer wrote: > -- > Klemens Meyer KlemensBMeyer@gmail.com Mobile 617-549-5539
