Es mag die vorgestrige Verleihung des Nobelpreises für Erforschungen in dem Bereich der Quantenmechanik gewesen sein, die mich zum weiteren Nachdenken über dieses provozierende herausfordernde Thema angeregt hat, als wäre es mir ein Bedürfnis im Rahmen dieser wissenschaftlichen "Fortschritte" irgendwie "dabei" zu sein. Perhaps it was the awarding day before yesterday of the Nobel prize in physics for researches in quantum mechanics, which stimulate me to further considerations about this provocative topic, as if I wished in some way to participate in these scientific advances. Betrachten wir doch die Bewegung als selbstverständlich, wie lückenhaft, wörtlich, literally, dieses Verstehen auch wäre. Denn ich "sehe", dass sich das im Winde schaukelnde Blatt von Ort zu Ort bewegt, und vermag ebenso wenig wie Zeno (490-430 BC) es vermochte, zu erklären wie es von Punkt zu Punkt kommen möchte, ein Geheimnis das in dem Widerspruch der Punkte ohne eigenes Ausmaß deren unendliche Zahl eine messbare Strecke ergeben soll; ein Urteil wobei die unendliche Zahl der Punkte deren unmessbare, abwesende Dimension aufwiegen soll, und in messbare Strecken von jeder beliebigen Größe verwandeln. About 150 years later Euclids calibration of space (geometry) served to bury the contradictions which Zeno has unearthed and demonstrated under a virtually impenetrable shield of intellectual discipline. It occurs to me that this intellectual discipline isin some ways comparable to military training which transforms the most brutal, inhuman, destructive activities of the soldiers into patriotic heroism. Ohne mir mit weiterem Überlesen meine Erinnerung der wesentlichen Behauptungen der Quantenmechanik zu bestätigen, bemerke ich, dass Werner Heisenberg ursprünglich sagte, es werde bei abnehmender Größe eines Gegenstandes unmöglichgleichzeitig seinen Ort und seinen Schwung (Impuls, Moment, Momentum) zu messen. Inwiefern diese Behauptung empirisch, experimentell belegbar ist, weiß ich nicht. In jedem Falle, akzeptiere und deute ich sie als die Rache der Wirklichkeit an den verleugneten Widersprüchen der klassischen Geometrie. Relying on memory, and without further reviewing the teachings about quantum mechanics, I refer to Werner Heisenberg's original assertion, that subject to sufficiently small dimensions of an object, it was impossible simultaneously to measure both the position and momentum of an object, with the implication that the process of measurement disrupted the determination of one value or the other. Under what circumstances and to what degree this assertion is experimentally demonstrable, I don't know. In any event, I construe the incongruities of quantum theory as chickens coming home to roost in the barns of Euclid. Seit Einsteins EPR Paradox gilt die scheinbare Widernatürlichkeit der Verschränkung (entanglement) als eine unglaubbare Fernwirkung und als solche, als ein Herd der quantentheoretischen Problematik. Subsequent to Einstein's paper about the EPR paradox, the apparent incongruity of quantum entanglement and its unexplained action at a distance has served as the focus of challenges to quantum mechanics. Diesbezüglich hege ich zwei Erwägungen, die Erste: Warum sollte die Fernwirkung bei Verschränkung unannehmbarer sein als die geheimnisvolle Fernwirkung der Schwerkraft (gravity) oder auch als die mit Lichtgeschwindigkeit vermittelte Fernwirkung der Kräfte des elektromagnetischen Spektrums. Was spricht gegen eine Verschränkung mit Geschwindigkeiten, die eben darum dass sie weil (weit) über die Lichtgeschwindigkeit, ausgerechnet aus diesem Grunde von uns nicht vernehmbar sein möchten, eine Verschränkung deren Selbstverständlichkeit eines Tages von einer "höheren" mathematischen Theorie gewährleistet wird. I entertain two relevant considerations. First: Why should action at a distancebe less acceptable in the case of entanglement, than is the mysterious action at a distance of gravity, or, for that matter, than is the action at a distance at the speed of light, of the forces of the electromagnetic spectrum? What precludes entanglement at velocities which are inapparent to us precisely because they exceed to speed of light and approach simultaneity? That might be a species of entanglement which would be vouchsafed for us by a "higher" mathematical theory developed precisely to fulfill this particular need. Such hyperperiods would be time without extent, time without time, time with neither future nor past, a time in which all events were simultaneous. Transition to the proposed hyperperiod would be consistent with the ancient Aristotelian doctrine of metabasis eis allo genos, in this case a transition from periods of time such as the past and the future, which are controlled and calibrated by numbers, into a period, unnumbered, without beginning or end, and therefore eternal, as the time of the present in which we live and in which we are trapped. Die Vorstellung eines solchen Übergangs wäre keineswegs mehr extravagant und sonderbar als die Vorstellungen von vielen Welten, oder die Vorstellungen eines Urknalls mit einer sich zeitlos mit Zeitgeschwindigkeit ausdehnenden Welt. Der Übergang von der messbaren Zeit in eine vorgeschlagene Hyperzeit wäre zugleich, "zur selben Zeit", ein Übergang aus den Bereichen des Gegenständlichen, zu den Bereichen des unmittelbar Anschaulichen, ein Übergang von Objektivität in Subjektivität. Wer wird nun noch Kierkegaard widersprechen und behaupten dass die Subjektivität nicht die Wahrheit sei? The hypothesis of such an effusion of past and future into the present is no more absurd and extravagant than the hypotheses of multiple worlds, of a singularity, a big bang, when time, energy and matter suddenly erupted for no reason, with no cause, from nothing, to constitute a universe which ever since has been expanding with the speed of light and will continue to do so for ever and ever. That is a thought such as is historically sealed the the Hebrew word: Amen. The transition from measurable time to the proposed hypertime or hyperperiod, would function "at the same time", as transition from the real apprehension of outward objects to the intuition of inward experience, the transition from objectivity to subjectivity. Is there anyone in the room who will dare to contradict Søren Kierkegaard and to deny that subjectivity is the the truth?
