Dear Nathaniel,
a) Two to six inches of new snow are forecast in the next 24 hours.
b) Consider moving you car in the driveway as close as you can without
blocking the side walk. This would minimize the amount of shoveling
required to get out.
c) Use your discretion about complying with the Town Ordinance that requires
clearing of the sidewalk in front of the house. Since the house is registered
in Grandma's name, the Town's hypothetical complaints should be addressed
to her.
d) I don't know about the functionality of the snowblower, but if you try
to use it, PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO GET HURT, and before you use it, 
give me a chance to explain to you about its problems.
