Dear Nathaniel, 

a) I don't remember where I put the manual. If you have the code number
of the appliance, you should be able to find a manual on the Internet.

b) My advice is not to bother with the manual.

c) The kitchen range has a 50 amp circuit breaker, and a short circuit
is very dangerous, - could cause severe skin burns or destroy eye sight.

d) You should not try to make any repairs on the range, until you have
identified and TURNED OFF the circuit breaker in the basement.

e) Why don't you come upstairs and talk to me, and we can decide how we
should proceed.
