b) While I think of it, and before I forget: Lying in bed is most of the time persistently uncomfortable if not painful.  I accommodate myself by falling asleep or by incessantly shifting position from lying on my back to lying on my side. I believe that a reclining chair would not permit such moving from lying on my back to lying on my side; that therefore I would be unable to use such a reclining chair, and that purchasing it would be a very expensive embarrassment.
