Can "German" philosophy be thought, be written in
English? Can philosophy be translated? Are there several
philosophies? Or is all philosophy the same, in which case
the term "German" would be redundant and misleading? If
philosophy is the mere thinking about thought, can it be
avoided at all? Shouldn't one stop being concerned with the
kind of philosophy and turn ones attention to its quality?
And at that point, isn't it feasible, and for that matter
desirable to discontinue talking about philosophy, and start
talking about thought, concepts and language, about thinking
writing and speaking? Then philosophy would appear to be
thought not about a specifically differnt topic, but would
appear to be thought of a certain quality, consistency and
thoroughness.
