The premise being that subjectivity is truth: that my thoughts and feelings, whatever they may be, are true, - not with respect to any reality they purport to represent or to perceive, but in regard to the compulsion with which they preoccupy me. The conclusion: that episte­ mology's function is to refine and to clarify these thoughts and emotions, and most important, to constrain them to abide within their limitations. * * * * *
